The short version - we only use what you send us to reply to you, and this site doesn't track you. The slightly longer version is below.
Caffeine Films is part of Ryan Kent Media Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Co. No. 09589484). We're responsible for the details you send us through this website. Any questions at all, just email hello@caffeinefilms.uk.
Only what you type into the contact form - your name, your email address, the sort of project you have in mind and your message. If you email us directly, we'll have whatever you put in that email.
We use it to reply to you and, if we end up working together, to plan and deliver your film. That's it. No newsletters, no mailing lists, and we never sell or share your details with anyone for marketing.
The legal basis is "legitimate interests" - you've asked us something, and we need your details to answer.

They only process your details on our behalf. Some of them store data in the US - where that happens, the transfer is covered by the safeguards UK data protection law requires.
Like any website host, Netlify also keeps short-lived server logs (things like IP addresses and the pages requested) to keep the site secure and running.
We keep enquiries and project emails for up to six years after our last conversation - the same length of time we keep business records for tax purposes - and then delete them. We clear out the copies held by Netlify regularly too.
This site doesn't use tracking cookies, analytics or adverts, so there's no cookie banner to click through.
When you choose to watch a film, the player comes from Vimeo. We load it in Vimeo's "do not track" mode, so it doesn't record your viewing for stats or advertising. Vimeo may still set a couple of security cookies to keep bots out - those are essential for the player to work, and only appear once you press play.
The fonts come from Google Fonts and some of the animation code from Cloudflare's cdnjs. Your browser fetches these directly, which means those services see your IP address, but they don't set any cookies.
The links to our Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo, Threads and Bluesky pages take you off this site, and those platforms' own privacy policies apply from there.
You can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them - just email hello@caffeinefilms.uk and we'll sort it, usually well within a month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
