Behind the Telemark Futures Fund film
How a fundraising brief for GB Snowsport became a 60-second film built around World Cup skier Jasmin Taylor.
When GB Snowsport got in touch about their Telemark Futures Fund, the brief was simple but the stakes were high - tell the story of an underfunded discipline in a way that makes people want to give.
Finding the angle
Telemark skiing is one of the most demanding disciplines in snowsport, yet it sits almost entirely outside public funding. Rather than lead with statistics, we built the film around Jasmin Taylor - a World Cup winner training and competing largely on her own resources.
The edit
The film runs at just over a minute, so every shot had to earn its place. We leaned on a tight rhythm, a licensed score from Artlist, and let the imagery do the emotional heavy lifting before landing on a clear call to action.
The result is a film designed to be shared - short enough for social, cinematic enough to feel like it matters.
